Seat Time is Everything

You've heard it said, "Seat time, seat time, seat time." The challenge with this is that it's a slow process, many times so slow you don't notice the changes. Results might not show it, lap times might not show it, but the improvement is there, oftentimes waiting for a special moment or circumstance to burst into the scene. Sometimes it's new equipment, new class, new track, other times it's just a moment that "feels right". The last few races have been like that, things are starting to click in ways they weren't before. This past weekend at Atomic Speedway we raced with the Ohio Thunder IMCA Racesaver Sprint Car Series and we were scheduled to run a double feature from an earlier rainout (which we broke a driveshaft in the Heat so the rainout was heaven sent). I also had seen some in-car videos of some people with the camera pointed back at the driver and wanted something like that with Alex and the end result to me is nothing short of incredible.
